Gustavo Pinto graduated in Tourism from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) and currently pursuing an MSc in Responsible Tourism at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, Gustavo brings a wealth of experience in training, marketing support, and promotion of tourism-related activities, including cultural events, arts, crafts, and local cuisine. From 2013 to 2014, he was part of the Community-Based Tourism Coordination at Mamirauá Institute for Sustainable Development, where he managed the Uakari Floating Lodge in collaboration with riverine communities. Gustavo now works as a consultant specializing in marketing, tourism product promotion, and sustainable supply chain management
Rodrigo Ozorio holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism from the Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR) and a Master’s in Environmental Management and Ecotourism from the University of Costa Rica. With 15 years of expertise in ecotourism, community-based tourism, and sustainable tourism, Rodrigo has worked across diverse biomes in Brazil—Amazon, Pantanal, Cerrado, and Atlantic Forest—as well as in Costa Rica. He previously served as a Researcher and Coordinator of the Community-Based Tourism Program at the Mamirauá Institute for Sustainable Development. Currently an independent consultant, Rodrigo resides near Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park and is involved in local social and educational projects
Andrea has a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and Ecology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, 2001), a full degree from UFRJ (2002), and a Master’s in Ecology from UFRJ (2005). He earned his PhD in Ecology, Conservation, and Wildlife Management from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Currently, Andrea is an adjunct professor in the Ecology Department at the University of Brasília and a researcher at the Center of Excellence in Tourism (CET-UnB). He teaches and advises undergraduate and graduate students, focusing on Protected Areas, Abundance Estimates - Distance, Atlantic Forest, Amazon, Cerrado, Nature Tourism, Ecotourism, Primates, Public Policies for Nature Conservation, GIS Geographic Information Systems, Landscape Ecology.
