2026 Responsible Tourism Awards worldwide open for entry

Entries have opened for the prestigious 2026 Responsible Tourism Awards worldwide. Candidates from outside the existing ICRT networks can apply now.

The free to enter ICRT global 2026 Responsible Tourism Awards worldwide are open for applicants until Tuesday 30 June 2026. Winners will be announced in a virtual ceremony in August 2026.

Judges will recognise organisations with the most innovative and replicable work in six award categories: Local Economic Benefit, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Nature Positive, Championing Cultural Diversity, Adapting to Climate Change, and Regenerative Tourism.

For over 20 years the awards have highlighted the best practices in Responsible Tourism all over the world. Now it is time for businesses, destinations and organisations from the following regions to showcase their initiatives and inspire others:

• North America,
• Canada
• The Middle East,
• Caribbean,
• Indian Ocean,
• Pakistan and Afghanistan
• Central Asia
• East Asia
• Australasia

There are five further regional awards for projects operating in other parts of the world:

• WTM Africa and ICRT Africa Responsible Tourism Awards
• ICRT Indian Subcontinent Responsible Tourism Awards- including India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh
• ICRT Europe Responsible Tourism Awards
• ICRT Southeast Asia Responsible Tourism Awards including – Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam
• ICRT LATA Latin America Responsible Tourism Awards

Gold winners from the regional Responsible Tourism Awards worldwide will be automatically listed as candidates for the Global Responsible Tourism Awards that are held in London in November 2026.
